Q. When is the race?

A. The Musikfest 5k will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2017.

Q. What time does the race start?

A. The run/walk will begin promptly at 10:30am.

Q. Where does the race start and finish?

A. The race will start at Steel Stacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem, PA. The start line will be located right in front of ArtsQuest Center. The race will finish at Johnston Park at the Volksplatz stage.

Q. Can I run with a stroller or dog?

A. No, we love your kids and dogs too but our insurance policy will not allow any participants to run or walk with strollers or animals. Sorry, no exceptions.

Q. Where can I park?

A. Parking will be FREE to all runners on race day. See 'Parking' tab on the left-hand side for a detailed and printable map.

Q. Who can participate in the race?

A. Runners and walkers of all levels can participate in the race. The event is perfect for running your fastest 5k or for those who are more interested in taking it easy and enjoying the brews.

Q. Will the race be timed?

A. Yes! The race will be professionally timed with the most advanced timing technology available from RM Timing Systems. Timing to be completed by Mid-Atlantic Timing.

Q. Can someone else pick up my race packet for me at packet pickup?

A. Yes! We are here to make your life easier. Someone else may pick up your packet for you as long as they are able to show some form of verification to our staff.

Accepted Items:

-Email authorizing designated person to pick up your packet

-Copy of Driver's License

Q. Will there be prizes awarded to the winners?

A. Yes, the top 3 overall males and females as well as the top 3 male and female age group winners will receive fantastic Musikfest prizes!

Q. How much is registration?

A. The registration fee schedule is as follows:

$40.00 until 06/16/2017
$45.00 06/17/2017 until 07/14/2017
$50.00 07/15/2017 until 5:00 pm 08/02/2017 or race sellout

Q. What do I get for participating?

A. In addition to a well-organized event and volunteer support along the course, all participants will receive the official race t-shirt, virtual goodie bag, race bib with timing chip attached, one free Yuengling beer (for all participants 21 years of age+), and an official Musikfest mug. 

Q. What do I do after the race?

A. All participants will receive early entry into the Musikfest festival. Beat the lines and enjoy all this wonderful event has to offer! Enjoy live music, vendors and more!

Q. Can I transfer my race registration to another person?

A. Yes, you may transfer your bib to another runner. The deadline for all transfers is July 28, 2017 at midnight. No transfers will be processed after this date, at packet pickup, or on race day. No exceptions. All transfers are processed online and a $10.00 processing fee will be applied.

Q. How do I process the transfer?

A.  In order to transfer your bib you must be the original owner. It is your responsibility to find a person to transfer your registration to if you are no longer able to participate in the race. CK Running, LLC will not match people who are unable to run and is not responsible for exchange of funds between parties. There is a $10.00 transfer fee per bib.
